Copyright for Librarians is developing a distance learning program on copyright targeted to librarians.
Materials will consist of course modules, interactive training, and multimedia resources, and will be made available under a Creative Commons Attribution license on the Connexions platform.
Copyright for Librarians - A Distance Learning Course is a project from the Berkman Center for Internet & Society and eIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries).
An expert group will participate to the course development and advise on various aspects:
- copyright law with an international perspective,
- librarians missions and issues,
- distance learning and open education methodology and technologies,
- developing and transition countries situation.
